Miami, Fla. (April 24, 2017) – The Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame announced in a press reception today at Estefan Kitchen, that Ana Gabriel, Erika Ender, Mana’s Fher Olvera, Martin Urieta, Roberto Livi andCamilo Sesto are the music luminaries that will be inducted at the 5th annual LA MUSA AWARDS. The exclusive announcement, hosted by LSHOF Chairman Desmond Child, LSHOF President Rudy Perez and award winning producer and songwriter Emilio Estefan counted with the participation of the who’s who in the Latin music industry, including past honorees, producers, songwriters and publishers.

The 2017 LA MUSA AWARDS will be held at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Fla. Thursday, October 19th directed by Richard Jay-Alexander.

Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame Chairman Desmond Child and President Rudy Perez said in a joint statement: “We are absolutely thrilled that the Latin Songwriters Hall Of Fame and LA MUSA AWARDS are celebrating our 5th year with such an outstanding Class of 2017 Inductees. We could not be prouder of these legendary giants of Latin music.”

To be eligible for induction into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame the songwriter, composer or lyricist must have had their first published work released at least 20 years prior to the year of induction. All inductees will be presented with the Silver La Musa Trophy Statuette.

Additional honors and special tribute performers will be announced throughout the summer. Tickets for gala at the James L. Knight Center will go on sale this summer.
